Faculty Position

Job description: The Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research (formerly, The School of Molecular Cell Biology and Biotechnology) seeks excellent candidates for a tenure-track faculty position. Relevant research fields include Biotechnology, Cancer, Cell Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Synthetic Biology, and Systems Biology involving experimental and/or computational research. The position will start either in July or October 2021. The position is open to both young and established researchers.

 

Job requirements: The candidates must have a Ph.D., post-doctoral training, a strong publication record, and the potential to establish an innovative and independent research program including mentoring of graduate students. Successful candidates will teach courses in Hebrew.

 

Application materials should include a full curriculum vitae, list of publications, concise research and teaching statements, and a brief cover letter addressing how the candidate sees him/herself fitting into the School. No letters of recommendation are required at this stage.

 

Applicants deemed suitable will be invited to present a seminar and a chalk talk (through Zoom).
