Microsoft Excel got Stuck?

Problem description: While opening several Excel windows or at heavy work, the software crashes completely and it takes time for it to respond or it does not respond until the software closes and reopens.

Cause of the problem: In most cases the Protected View of Office software is the cause of the problem. The problem usually exists in Excel from version 2013 onwards, but sometimes also appears in the 2010 version.

Solution: The Protected View option should be turned off in Excel. To do this, follow these steps:

1. In Excel click on File and in the menu that opens choose Options
Go to Options

2. In the Window that will open go to the Trust Center category and there click on Trust Center Settings.

Go to Trust Center Settings

3. In the next screen, on the left-side menu, go to the Protected View categroy and remove the V from all the options there and then click OK.

Under protected view remove the V from all optionsand click OK

4. After you reopen Excel the problem should be resolved.
